An examination of the life & career of Althea Gibson, an individual who played a significant role in the Civil Rights movement of African Americans worldwide. The solution to the problem was to create a box set and poster based on her career & accomplishments as a tennis champion & silent Civil Rights activist.

Known for paving the way for black athletes, Gibson was not one for worldly possessions-she was a traveler with few things. Thus, the story of her hardships & triumphs fits into a canvas bag, enabling her to take her experiences with her.

Programs used were: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Tasks included research, ideation, design, and production.
