Immersed in Design
Hello, welcome to Holly Burton Designs-a graphic communications and new media
company established in 2006 by principal designer Holly Burton. Located in the San
Francisco Bay Area, Holly Burton has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Humboldt State
University in studio art, museum & gallery practices, and art education. Other
degrees include a Master of Arts from San Francisco State University in industrial
design with concentrations in graphic communications and new media.
Most
recently, Holly has received recognition for her work with the Industrial Design
Outreach (iDo) organization-a non-profit program committed to developing the next
generation of creative thinkers through the interdisciplinary and experiential
teaching of design.
Other areas of involvement include: freelance work
for Kurt Burton Photography; Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA); Epsilon
Pi Tau (EPT); San Francisco State University Athletics; and the For-Site Foundation,
San Francisco.

The finished bench was created by students at Thurgood Marshall High School and was gifted to Mayor Gavin Newsom's office at San Francisco's City Hall.
